About counselling

Getting unstuck

We all face difficulties in our lives at times.

It could be with relationships or family, at work, with health or self esteem. We sometimes get stuck and I would help you to see exactly what is going on, or simply give you a chance to talk and to be heard.

What people bring

People come to counselling for a wide range of issues including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Family difficulties
  • Phobias
  • Panic attacks
  • Work problems
  • Personal development
  • Lack of confidence and self esteem

What to expect

How the work actually goes.

01

You find your answers

Seeing a counsellor could help you look at what is going on in your life and help you to find the answers that you need.

02

Nothing is off limits

You can talk about anything that is worrying you in a respectful and confidential setting. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you, to help you work through the difficulties and look at the choices open to you. Having a chance to talk about things with someone who has no other place in your life can often help.

03

At your own pace

Sessions usually last an hour but shorter sessions are available. They can be weekly or less frequently. Remote consultations, often by telephone, are available and very popular with clients.
